Leafnut

Leafnut is a new monitoring, switching and dimming control system for street lighting, which allows energy savings of up to 50% per streetlight.

Leafnut revolutionises street light maintenance programmes by providing individual status and fault reports, improving quality of service and reducing carbon emissions.

Energy consumption can be also managed carefully, giving energy savings of up to €36 per street lighting column per year together with carbon emission savings of 100 kilos per column per year.

Leafnut’s modular and scalable design provides support for small installations, like car parks, while providing simple expansion to systems supporting city wide schemes of 100,000 lights and beyond.

It can be applied to new build schemes but can just as easily be retrofitted to replace existing copper iron ballasts.
